BRIDGEWATER — The Bridgewater Disability Commission agreed to skip its November and December meetings, resuming Jan. 26, after a busy session on autism-related police training and local accessibility concerns. Member David relayed a written response from Lieutenant Scott Heil of the Bridgewater Police Department describing academy and annual in-service training on autism and the "Blue Envelope Program." Vice Chair Lorraine has handled secretarial duties for roughly two years without a permanent replacement found Tuesday. Town staff liaison Josh said accessibility grant awards for town buildings are expected by Dec. 21, and a long-delayed commission presentation to the Town Council is now targeted for January.

A member reported a monthslong streetlight outage near Union Congregational Church, calling the area "pitch black" for seniors at night, and was directed to call the Highway Department.
