Bridgewater Board of Health sets monthly schedule, awaits third member and chair

Board of Health · Meeting of February 25, 2026

Bridgewater's Board of Health held its first structured organizational meeting in years, agreeing to convene on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. The two-member board — currently one seat short of its standard three-member complement — welcomed new appointee Kevin Blomquist, a Title V septic inspector who previously worked as an application developer at a Boston law school. Sitting member William Prince, a pharmacist at South Shore Hospital in his second term, also attended.

No votes were taken; neither member had yet been sworn in as of the meeting date. The board deferred election of a chair, an orientation meeting with the town manager, and discussion of a Massachusetts Association of Health Boards certificate program to its next session.
