Other Committee · Meeting of July 22, 2026

BRIDGEWATER — The Charter Review Committee voted 7-0 not to finalize its resident survey until it reviews a separate town manager survey. Members rewrote the form-of-government question as an open-text prompt, 7-0, and moved it to the end, 6-1. They struck a block of confidence questions, 6-1, and questions on town services and the website, both 7-0.

One member said a question on returning to open town meeting amounted to "leading the witness." The panel also reviewed three public forums starting August 12 and sent a draft employee questionnaire back for revision.
