BRIDGEWATER — The Disability Commission heard a member's report on downtown crosswalks and sidewalks, and planned a chief's visit. A member who walked downtown said crosswalks are "very faded and worn," and that the sidewalk in front of the Academy Building was the most cracked. David said the town manager described money for line painting and striping in Central Square.
Members approved the May minutes on a voice vote and said they would ask a presenter to move the High Pond Estate talk to Oct. 7. They also agreed to invite a police or fire chief to September's meeting on winter and summer weather preparedness. A member will research Bridgewater's local rules on service and therapy animals.
The next meeting is Aug. 25.
