Conservation · Meeting of July 23, 2026

Bridgewater's Conservation Commission approved the Old State Farm plan and voted to press BSU over stockpile soil testing. Members voted 4-0 to issue a standard order of conditions for a town project off Summer Street, then 3-0 to send BSU a second letter asking it to reappear. Agent Dan Levesque said a site visit found sediment channeling through two culverts to a spot about 35 feet from wetlands.

DPW Director Azu agreed to order the full 14-metal panel after soil results near Wells 10 A&B at 1719 Plymouth Street fell short of what the commission requested. Levesque also reported bylaw revision quotes of $40,000 to $45,000 from Horsley Witten and $10,000 to $12,000 from BSC Group.
